Cylindo | Part of Chaos is looking for a Data Engineer who is responsible to build systems and pipelines that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for data scientists and business analysts to interpret. Their goal is to provide data that is accurate, congruent and reliable, and easily accessible.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) infrastructure and layer architecture
• Create and maintain efficient and scalable data pipeline architecture to pull together data from different systems
• Integrating, transforming, consolidating, and cleansing data to build efficient and scalable analytical data models
• Full life cycle development, implementation, production support, security, and performance tuning of the DWH
• Support the integration of the DWH with BI and other applications
• Work with other Data Engineers and Data Architect on an overall design for flowing data from various internal and external sources
• Analyze and organize raw data
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability and develop them
• Work with key business partner groups (e.g. Product Mgt), Dev teams, and other Data roles to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
• Set security policy for data
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain dataflows, data marts, and datasets/semantic layers

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience working in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, BigQuery, AWS
• Experience with various ETL/ELT tools
• Follow the best practices for DWH and Datamart design, Data Modeling, and ETL/ELT design
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other relevant

• Proficiency with Snowflake
• Proficiency with DBT
• Previous experience with other ETL/ELT tools
• Previous experience in a software product company or telecom
• Experience with Microsoft Power B
